SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROVIDER (SDP) ACCREDITATION

ACCREDITED SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROVIDERS (SDPs)

ASSESSMENT CENTRE ACCREDITATION

The assessment and certification of learners enrolled in occupational qualifications are conducted through the External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA), a standardised evaluation process overseen by the QCTO. EISA is administered exclusively at accredited Assessment Centres, ensuring the integrity and quality of assessments.

A Skills Development Provider (SDP) can also apply to be an accredited Assessment Center but with different SME’s.

Assessment Centre accreditation is qualification-specific, meaning that Skills Development Providers (SDPs) and other entities seeking accreditation must apply separately for each occupational qualification they intend to assess. The accreditation process for Assessment Centres aligns closely with that of SDP accreditation. Entities interested in becoming accredited Assessment Centres should visit the QCTO website (www.qcto.org.za) to submit their applications.
